Earth Science, (SCI203)
Grades: 10-12
Prerequisite: None
Credits: .5
Earth Science is a half credit course for students who would like to gain knowledge of the Earth, its features and changes. As students of the international community, students will gain an understanding of their impact on the Earth’s ecosystems and physical landscapes. This course introduces geology, oceanography, meteorology, and space science (astronomy). Top
Environmental Awareness, (SCI204)
Grades:10-12 with teacher recommendation
Prerequisite:
Credits: .5
This half-credit course will give students a basic understanding of the near-term and long-term effects of their actions on the quality of their environment. This course will expose students to a broad view of the science and how the Earth functions with and without human intervention. Top
Chemistry, (SCI205)
Grades: 10-12
Prerequisite: Algebra
Credits: 1
A year long introductory course studying properties of and changes in matter. Laboratory experience is an integral part of this course. This course is recommended for college bound students. Top
