Parents for Wilmot is a group that is interested in promoting all facets of our student’s experiences while at Wilmot.

We support their growth in all areas of academic excellence and encourage opportunities for the students to be well prepared for their future endeavors.

Some of the activities in which we are involved:

  1. Supporting Red Ribbon Week
  2. Hosting and Chaperoning Freshman and Feeder school dances
  3. Participating in Homecoming parade
  4. Providing concessions at the plays/musicals
  5. Promoting Teacher Appreciation Week
  6. Providing an Outstanding Teacher Award
  7. Supporting Student Recognition Night
  8. Sponsoring Parents for Wilmot Scholarship
  9. Inviting teachers from one of the school’s department to our meeting each month to gain knowledge about currently offered courses and any assistance parents could provide to the department’s program.

Meetings: News & Events:
Our meetings are held the second Monday of the month beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Wilmot High School, in Room 180. We encourage all parents to attend our meetings, however we do understand that you might have other commitments. In that case, we ask that you help us keep you informed by sending you emails of meeting notes and upcoming events. Through your participation, we would like to make this group an active part of the educational process at Wilmot Union High School.
